Filmmaker/ Actress/ Hostess
Kim Afreeka was born in Harlem and raised in Brooklyn into a artistic and eclectic family. She studied Theater Arts at the Maureen Stapleton Theater in Troy, New York. She majored in Social Work at Morgan State University and the University of Maryland and studied screenwriting, art and fashion on the side. She recently attended LACC Cinema School and worked on several short student films. She now resides between LA, & NYC and just finished writing, producing and directing her first SAG/AFTRA signatory short film, A Wishing Well in Brooklyn due to be released in Spring 2020.
